Brad Stewart brings over 35 years of unparalleled experience in military medicine, logistics, and the private sector. With a career distinguished by creative problem-solving and innovative solutions, Brad stands as a leader in his field.

Brad’s career began with 23 years of dedicated service in the United States Navy. At eighteen, he started as an EMT, gaining crucial experience in emergency medicine and patient transport. His passion for austere medicine led him to become a Navy Deep Sea Diving Medical Technician (DMT), excelling in diving medicine and supporting overseas diving operations as a Fleet Diver. Stationed with an Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit in Italy, Brad specialized in long-range casualty evacuation across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Over the next 15 years, Brad honed his medical and leadership skills while supporting multiple SEAL Teams and Tier 1 units. He directed medical operations and conducted CASEVAC missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other hostile environments. His experience in combat medicine, trauma care, and trauma training earned him numerous prestigious awards, including the Bronze Star with Valor and two Defense Meritorious Service Medals. He also qualified as a Military Freefall Parachutist. Brad ultimately rose to the rank of Hospital Corpsman Chief Senior and retired from Naval Special Warfare Development Group.

Transitioning to civilian life, Brad continued to make significant contributions. In the commercial sector, he advanced his vision through various roles in the design, construction, and operation of over twenty mobile medical facilities and mobile hospitals for the Department of State (DOS) and Department of Defense (DOD). During the 2014 Ebola outbreak in Liberia, he was requested by name to independently deploy and support the establishment of Ebola Treatment Units. Brad also contributed to humanitarian efforts for organizations like the United Nations and USAID, designing advanced medical facilities for refugee camps across Africa.

As the CEO and founder of Solution Based Innovation, LLC, Brad leverages his extensive experience to drive the company’s mission of providing innovative and effective healthcare solutions in challenging environments. At SBI, collaboration and “solution-based” innovation are at the heart of their approach. By identifying problems with the end user or client, SBI formulates ideas by leveraging their extensive experience. Together, they research potential solutions, develop, and review them, creating new products, services, or processes that enhance the client’s operations and mission success.
